Ink and Fable

Foreword by Venkat
Belief does as much to action as imagination to thought. Belief and imagination are two distinct ‘taste buds’ in our cultivated taste for interpretation. Needless to say, each person has a different taste for the same thing. Fiction and myth have a much larger role than to depict figments of imagination. Entering into the realms of the unreal, takes us out of our usual thinking patterns to see the real in a different light and to question our beliefs. Navya ventures into questioning the ‘existent’ fictional characters and their representation in our beliefs in a logical and persuasive effort in her article. As she finally draws the reader to the comforting (or discomforting) fact that fiction works best in the fictional world, it underlines the reason why fiction is meant to remain unreal. The taste of the unreal brings new differentiation and nuances in our tastes of the real. Navya brings her fresh and thought provoking view of the world of ink and fable to give us good food for fable!
Explore and feel the sharp inquisitiveness as Navya guides on her track of thought studded with many relevant questions.

Ink and Fable
Have you ever had those ‘What if’ thoughts for a character after finishing the books? What if they were real? Would they have conquered us humans? What if the plot was something else – how would people view them? What if we do have such powers or creatures in real life? What if questions are quite annoying. Let’s try to find an answer.
Vampires. Extravagant animals – truly misconstrued if you were to ask me. At any point though, consider the possibility that they were genuine. Could they be more impressive than us people and command over all of us? Could they simply keep themselves away remaining concealed, being frightened of us after the entirety of our cruel decisions on them? I mean – the greater part could call them parasitic animals assuming they were genuine, or could we? What might be said about the interest in their adoration? They are eternal and falling head over heels for humans would kill them. Think out how frequently they would see their friends and family die however they basically keep on living even after the large number of misfortunes. Some would ponder how vampires are simply coldhearted and could likely never truly have real sentiments – after all they are in dead bodies, isn’t that so? In the event that they truly are that dead and don’t have sentiments – how would they figure out how to live like any living being? Furthermore, do they need blood to get by, which sort of makes them not-really dead-animals. However at that point once more, they can be alive and carry on as though any other living being yet still not have sentiments. Befuddling, right? We should perhaps discuss mermaids, all things considered.
One more dream animal, this time a more sensible sort of animal – mermaids. They care for the marine life, safeguard corals, loveable animals and the reward? They are full of goodness and so exceptionally beautiful. How might they at any point go rogue? One mermaid may attempt her true best to please everybody around her, however individuals prefer the other mermaid all the more as a result of the inviting honor. Could that make her reprobate despite the fact that everything she does is to make an honest effort? Or on the other hand would she simply be viewed as typical? After all, envy is very normal yet very horrendous once an individual can’t resist the urge to lose themselves over it. Bad guy or typical?
What might be said about sirens? Are they and mermaids the equivalent? I mean it would be right to say so. After all, sirens are in the shape of mermaid to lure those greedy men who fall in love just cause of one’s beauty and sirens do a real great job by ending those greedy creatures’ lives. Shouldn’t they be viewed as great after all that they are doing – they ought to be considered as mermaids in the true sense but for dealing with the marine life – they simply charm the debased and avaricious men to kill them. Femme fatales without a doubt. However, shouldn’t something be said about the ones who most likely merited more attention in everyday life than those who were going to fib their off-base doings by moving along? That could truly alarm the reprobate or could It truly? Well, perhaps they simply aren’t pardoning animals some truly merit renewed opportunities.
So, who really is the hero? Who is the villain? Who is who? Can one creature, like vampires, just be villains overall? Can one creature, like mermaids, always be loveable creatures? Am I leaving you with such a large number of questions -which might be leaving you confused? The purpose of these questions were for you to answer them on your own. Now what you may answer would be quite different than what your friend might have thought….the answer of a third person you never met would have different answers compared to you and your friend and so on. You know why? It’s all about perspectives.
There are such countless books and motion pictures where the story is totally based according to an antagonist’s perspective. Why? Since some place where it counts the lowlifes think they are being legends or are carrying equity with themselves. Obviously, even a protagonist’s perspective exists and presently it depends on you to conclude who is the real bad guy and who is the hero. It depends on you to choose if one animal by and large can be simply no good or not.
Disheartening, right? How I began by asking to explore the answer to the ‘What if’ questions and how I end up leaving you with a deeper conundrum of all labels being equal as per one’s choice of perspective. However, the more you contemplate, the more responses come up – and your response would be unique in relation to what your companion would think.
Anyway, what truly then is the solution to these ‘What if’ questions? The answer is that none of it won’t ever truly be the answer, because it’s completely based on your creative mind and your point of view. After this deep introspection on “what if”, it’s obviously true that ‘what if’ questions have great many responses. We can never know which one is right until the circumstance shows it up. In this case – we wouldn’t really know the answer to these questions till such creatures come in real…but that would just ruin the world of ink and fable.
Reality can be never same as books, so there will be many perspectives to imagine on what is genuine. Would they be completely dark or white like books make them to be or have traces of both or would they experience the gray world like us…. once more, it’s all dependent upon our creative mind and point of view, all things considered. They aren’t exactly going to be genuine. Ink and fable is the world of escaping reality and jumping into a whole new world of great possibilities, ones we can never even think of in real life.
This is the universe of ink and fable. View the person as dark or view the person as white or perhaps view them in traces of high contrast, it’s actually all dependent upon you. This universe of ink and fable ultimately depends on your creative mind and nothing is preventing you from making it the manner in which you wish it to. These bring fantasy and imagination where every question has multiple answers… so nothing is preventing you from making any person or fictional animals be in the manner in which you believe they should be.
